Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Recently, "Magna Carta Record" has started to reissue some of the best, most influential prog albums released in the 90's and at the beginning of this millenium here on Bandcamp. Names like "Cairo", "Dali's Dilemma", Derek Sherinian, "Enchant", "Ice Age", Jordan Rudess, "Mullmuzzler", and "World Trade" (in alphabetical order) appear on the list - lots of superb albums, which sustained my weakening interest in prog then. Since I'm a die-hard fan of Keith Emerson, "Cairo" caught my attention immediately, because of Mark Robertson's ability to revive the full-fledged spirit of Emerson's Hammomd-and-synth-laden compositions in his own works. "Ruin's At Avalon's Gate" is perfect testimony of that - it might quite well be a long-lost ELP epic of the 70's. Favorite track: Ruins At Avalon's Gate.
